4 Terms of Anti-Jewish Protest Speak Defined

FACT: Antisemitism is on the rise, and it's time to take action.

In recent years, college campuses have become battlegrounds for the fight against antisemitism. Jewish students face discrimination, harassment, and exclusion simply for their beliefs and support for Israel. It's crucial to address this troubling trend head-on and work towards creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all students.

Decoding Anti-Semitic College Protest Speak:

  1. "Liberated Zone"

Encampments ruled by pro-Hamas activists that have been “liberated” from pro-Israel Jews, thereby denying Jewish students access to university common spaces because they oppose terrorism.

  1. "Intifada"

Based on the Arabic root word “nafada” which means to shake, as in to shake off something. Palestinians chose to call their actions “intifada” because the message they are sending is that they intend “to shake off” Jews from Israel.

  1. “Zionist”

Zionism refers to support for the continued existence of Israel, in the face of regular calls for its destruction or dissolution. Anti-Zionism is a form of antisemitism that calls for the destruction of the state of Israel.

  1. “Resistance”

Any action that services the complete destruction of Israel, such as the October 7th attack on innocent Israelis perpetrated by Hamas terrorists and cheered on by campus protestors.

In addition to these discriminatory terms, it's essential to address the targeted harassment faced by Jewish students on university campuses. While students of various beliefs should feel safe and respected, Jewish students often bear the brunt of discrimination, solely for their stance against terrorism targeting Israel.

Furthermore, external influences, such as George Soros, play a significant role in fueling antisemitic sentiments on campus. Soros, through his funding of anti-Israel protests, aims to pressure political leaders to abandon support for Israel, thus facilitating its destruction. This manipulation of campus activism perpetuates hatred and division, posing a threat to the safety and well-being of Jewish students.

Despite these challenges, the campus protests inadvertently validate the necessity of Israel's existence. The very existence of these protests underscores the importance of Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people and the need to defend its right to exist.
