Honoring George Edward Billhimer

George Edward Billhimer was born Aug. 4, 1924. During WWII, Billhimer quit school and joined the U.S. Navy and was assigned as a gunner on a U.S. merchant ship. His service was mostly in the Atlantic near Great Britain and France. After his service to his country, Billhimer finished high school then attended Coyne Electrical School on the G.I. Bill. He operated a TV & radio repair business in Elkton, VA for a number of years before retiring in 1991. As of the date of this submission, George Billhimer is now 93 years old and still living at home with his wife of 68 years, Wilda.
