Attention: Best Buy
Whether Best Buy will survive its financial problems has been a major news story recently but what is equally news-worthy is Best Buy’s sponsorship of a Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) event. You may recall, CAIR made news recently with its attacks on the New York City Police Department’s program to prevent attacks by Islamic radicals. (Have you signed the petition in support of the NYPD?)
CAIR’s Minnesota chapter received a donation from Best Buy that made the struggling retail company a “Platinum Sponsor” of CAIR’s activities. The public record shows that CAIR Minnesota and the parent organization have been involved in controversial activities that has caused the United States Government to designate CAIR as an “unindicted co-conspirator” to fund the terrorist group Hamas in the United States.
