Since the attacks on 9-11, Americans have frequently questioned their government's response to domestic and international challenges to our security. We are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, conservatives and liberals who share a common concern about our security and liberty. Our concerns have led us to create an organization that allows the American people to influence American security and foreign policy.
SecureAmericaNow.org is a 501(c) 4 issues advocacy social welfare organization under the Internal Revenue Code. SAN is dedicated to mobilizing a broad-based grassroots coalition of two million national security activists to support policies that will protect our nation against terrorist infiltration, attack, and capitulation to our enemies.
It is the ONLY 501(c) 4 organization that has a proven track record of recruiting, uniting and working with a broad range of constituencies to impact the national security sector. SAN is the ONLY national security organization utilizing top-flight professionals, including John McLaughlin and Pat Caddell to mobilize large population blocks on behalf of an American centric national security policy.
In a non-partisan manner, SAN has,and will continue to bring the American people (not just policy makers) into the debate over national security issues. SAN is not a vehicle for one celebrity voice; it is building/mobilizing a mass movement coalition to unite security hawks of all political persuasions to foster and support strong national security policies.
Unlike mobilization efforts of other national security organizations, SAN is committed to driving a strong national security narrative by employing multi-media and state-of-the art marketing technology. Our "boots on the ground" will be evident in states across America,strategically selected for maximum impact. We will use the "strike team" force of digital, electronic and highly motivated "information pushers." It is the power of the two-million voices rising above the fray every single day that will be the source of the impact of SAN.
THE ISSUE AND THE SOLUTION
National security is the one area where the President of the United States can operate independently. Only the forceful voice of the American people can influence these policies.
When asked in a national survey how important are issues of national security to you when deciding your vote for President?
96% said IMPORTANT; 67% said VERY IMPORTANT
The American people understand the importance of national security and SAN is providing the platform for them to influence whatever Administration is in power between elections.
Secure America Now is seeking funding to mobilize the masses with TV (earned and paid media), digital/Internet, polling and state-of-the-art technology to influence the grassroots, of all political persuasions. We have commitments of nearly $2 million, but we must raise a minimum of $20 million.
We will concentrate our resources on mobilizing the American public in support of impacting the security policy of the United States Government.
Every day, we are bombarded with news of national security failures. Failures include a gun running scheme that led to the tragic death of a Border Agent; impotent measures being taken against Iran; continued failure to police our borders; and the apparent embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood.
In addition to mobilizing people to influence policy, SAN will conduct research into security issues that the media is not covering. We will use our 501(c) 3 research and education foundation for long term and more extended efforts in this area. We also have an affiliated Super PAC for targeted political activity.
